Come on down to Something Fishy, where the food is fun, the people are friendly, and the fish is oh so fresh!
We’re a family owned restaurant that’s been in operation since 2016, and if there’s one thing we love, it’s treating our customers to a great experience the moment they walk through those doors! The years since we first opened Something Fishy have been some of the best years of my and my wife’s lives, but we’ve had one heck of a ride before that.
I myself have worked in the IT field for over two whole decades, while my wife worked in the non-profit sector. She’s worked as the executive director at the Habitat for Humanity, where she helped countless individuals and communities. But it’s not just us, our goal when starting the restaurant was to get our kids involved as well!
Our daughter Gabrielle is a talented graphic designer who works on fresh new looks for our logo, restaurant themes, and even helps out on the color theme and interior design of our two locations.
If you ever head down to our Apopka location, you’ll find Kenneth, our son and head chef! He got his culinary education from OCPS and since joining the team has been an absolute joy in both the kitchen and the restaurant.
Finally, there’s our son Christopher. When he’s not helping out as a server in the restaurant, he’s out serving our country as a US Marine!
All in all, we can truly say that we’re proud of the family-driven culture we’ve built at Something Fishy. We have a simple goal of putting a smile on your face and a hot meal in your belly, and all at a reasonable price!
So what are you waiting for? Don’t be shy, give Something Fishy a try!
